Susan Emmer has over 30 years of public policy experience in the public and private sectors, serving in senior government positions on Capitol Hill and at the Department of Health and Human Services and producing client-focused health policy, strategy, and advocacy.  For the past 20 years, Susan has operated Emmer Consulting, Inc., as the Founder and President.  She specializes in Medicare policy with a focus on end-of-life, long-term care, and chronic care payment issues, as well as federal legislative and regulatory process. Susan received her law degree from the Georgetown University Law Center and her undergraduate degree from Brown University.
