Jon Summers serves as Chief Communications Officer of UsAgainstAlzheimer’s. Mr. Summers is a nationally recognized strategist and storyteller who combines data, innovation, creativity, and experience to craft communications campaigns that drive change. Among his extensive media experience was his role as television anchor and reporter for a CBS affiliate in Las Vegas, Communications Director for the Nevada State Democratic Party and later for the Democratic Governors Association, and his five-year tenure as Communications Director for Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid. More recently, he served as Senior Vice President at the creative media agency GMMB, where he ran multifaceted communications campaigns for political candidates, nonprofit organizations, trade associations, and corporations. His passion for doing good in the world impelled him to leave Summers Strategies, the successful communications firm he founded, and join the fight against Alzheimer’s.
